Screening George Cukor

The director George Cukor’s movie job spanned above 50 several years and incorporated musicals, screwball comedies, melodramas, literary variations and a lot more. The Movie Modern society of Lincoln Center is celebrating Mr. Cukor’s work with a complete overview of his films, from some of his most well-known functions (“A Star is Born” with Judy Garland, pictured) to lesser-acknowledged perform (“Bhowani Junction”). The collection operates from Dec. 13-Jan. 7.
